![]() The Mega Arm, known as Rock'n Arm ( ロックンアーム, Rock'n Arm ) in Japan, is an upgrade of the Super Mega Buster done by Dr. However, Mega Man can charge his shots again in Mega Man 11, and he gained the ability to increase its power and speed with the Double Gear System. In Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10, Mega Man lost the ability to charge his shots, suggesting that it has reverted to the original version. The Game Boy games allow for charging starting from Mega Man III. In Mega Man 4 onward, the Mega Buster was upgraded to be able to charge energy up to two degrees, firing a Charge Shot. With a few exceptions, like the non-canon remake Mega Man Powered Up, its bullets can pass through most walls. A single, uncharged Solar Bullet can blow a five foot diameter hole in a wall of solid stone. It is a powerful weapon capable of puncturing steel and destroying boulders. It fires "Solar Bullets" ( ソーラーブリット, "Solar Bullets" ), energy bullets made of highly compressed solar energy, the same energy source used by Mega Man. This Mega Buster is an ambidextrous arm cannon built by Dr. ![]() The original Mega Buster, originally called simply " P" (possibly standing for "player" or "power" as in the menu it displays the player's life energy instead of weapon energy) in early games, also known as Arm Cannon outside Japan, is Mega Man's primary weapon in the Mega Man games.
